On the 9th of Dey, a collaborative effort between the English Language Scientific Association and the Student Basij of Imam Sadiq University (Women’s Campus) led to the organization of a symbolic and humanitarian event. Held under the slogan “Let’s make toast. Let’s make a difference,” the program took place on the first floor of the Training Building starting at 12:00 PM. Participants worked together to prepare sausage and cheese toast sandwiches with fresh herbs. The distinguishing feature of the event was that all proceeds were dedicated to supporting the people of Gaza. This initiative aimed to elevate a simple activity into an act of solidarity and aid, defining its ultimate purpose not merely as preparing a snack, but as taking a stand for humanity and standing alongside people in crisis. The program was held in a warm atmosphere and was well received by professors and students, serving as an example of student-led initiatives that blend cultural activities with social responsibility.

In the peaceful animal kingdom, a rumor began to spread: the river, their only source of water, was going to be sold by the humans who lived downstream. The animals were terrified.Leo the Lion, the king, decided to probe the matter. He sent his most trusted advisor, Monroe the Monkey, to the edge of the human village to find out the truth. Monroe returned with worrying news. "The humans did mention a plan for the river," he chattered nervously, wringing his hands.Fear turned to panic. Some animals, like the rabbits, wanted to evade the problem entirely. "We should just find a new home, far away from here!" they cried. Others, like the foxes, simply hid in their dens, hoping the danger would pass.But Leo, wise and strong, knew they had to act. He let out a mighty roar that echoed through the entire kingdom. "Everyone, assemble at the Great Rock!"From all corners, the animals came: the elephants, the zebras, the giraffes, the tortoises, and even the timid deer. A great debate began. The ostriches wanted to bury their heads and ignore it. The hippos argued for fighting the humans. The owls, however, suggested a different path."We must reform our plan," hooted the eldest owl. "We cannot fight them, and we cannot run. We must go to them with a proposal. We will help them. We will offer to keep the river clean and the land around it healthy. The humans, surprised by the animals' wisdom and cooperation, accepted.The river was never sold. The animals learned that when faced with a problem, you must first probe for the truth, not evade it. You must assemble all those affected and have a thoughtful debate to find a solution. And sometimes, the best solution requires a reform of your old ways, leading to a better future for everyone.
