Culture shock is the feeling of confusion, discomfort, or anxiety that people experience when they move to or visit a country or culture that is very different from their own.
Meaning in Persian:
شوک فرهنگی یعنی احساس سردرگمی، ناراحتی، یا استرس که وقتی فرد وارد یک فرهنگ جدید و متفاوت میشود، تجربه میکند. این احساس معمولاً به دلیل تفاوت در زبان، آداب و رسوم، غذا، رفتار مردم یا سبک زندگی به وجود میآید.
Examples:
Many international students experience culture shock when they first move abroad. بسیاری از دانشجویان بینالمللی وقتی برای اولین بار به خارج از کشور میروند، دچار شوک فرهنگی میشوند.
It took me a few months to get over my culture shock. چند ماه طول کشید تا بر شوک فرهنگی غلبه کنم.
