کارشناسان هشدار میدهند انتشار عکسهایی که نوک انگشتان در آنها بهصورت واضح دیده میشود، میتواند ریسک سوءاستفادههای امنیتی را افزایش دهد. حتی در برخی آزمایشهای رسانهای، بازسازی نمونههای جعلیِ اثر انگشت، با استفاده از تصاویر معمولی انجام شده است.
